Animatic: Cradle

Animatic: The Joy Formidable "Cradle"

This is the finished animated story board for our music video.

We initially created the animatic in order to obtain a clearer idea of what the different shots, angles and movements would look like when put together to form the final video. We created this storyboard by originally hand drawing the pictures and then filmed them in order to import them into the editor, where we took image stills and put them in the order in which we felt would flow best in our video. Although we filled most of the song, there was a remaining 15-16 seconds of the song which we did not fill, however we intend to use this extra space as an oppertunity to add in certain shots whilst filming and to have room to extend shots or add in angles which we did not think of during the initial storyboarding. Below is the animatic we created.
